MEET YOUR PEDIATRIC DENTISTS
Rhonda C. Hogan, DMD, PC
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Rhonda Hogan is a unique kind of dentist. With her kid-oriented style and fun personality, she gets children excited about their dental care, helping them to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
After earning her doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1999, Dr. Hogan found that she especially enjoyed helping children develop healthy smiles. This passion for children led her to complete a two year pediatric dental residency at the distinguished Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, earning status as a specialist in pediatric dentistry – a distinction earned by fewer than 3 percent of all dentists.
Each year, Dr. Hogan continues to study advanced children’s dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and sedation dentistry. But most importantly, she takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.
Dr. Hogan, her husband Dr. Grant Hogan, and their children, Kate and David live right here in Suwanee.
Shelley Berganske, DMD
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Shelley Wade Berganske grew up in Lawrenceville and graduated from Dacula High School. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors from the University of Georgia with a degree in chemistry, she earned her doctorate from Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) in 2015.
Because of her love for children and desire to teach them the importance of being healthy and taking care of their teeth, Dr. Shelley pursued her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist. She stayed in Augusta for two more years and completed her pediatric specialty training at DCG. Her training included advanced behavior management techniques and treating patients with special healthcare needs. During residency, Dr. Shelley had the opportunity to treat patients at Children’s Hospital of Georgia and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Dr. Shelley loves spending time with children, and she is passionate about building a positive relationship with each of her patients. Her goal is to help children develop an understanding of the importance of oral health and keep a healthy smile for a lifetime.
Dr. Shelley is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Shelley lives here in Gwinnett with her husband, Stephen, their two daughters, Emma Claire and Caroline, and their dog, Georgia.
